If you've not visited this site before - WELCOME and a warm one at that! You will find pictures from our previous
productions together with how to contact us should you wish to become a part of the team.
To give you a taster here's a welcome message from our chairman, Derry French:
"Hello! Welcome to Winslow Players’ website, a nice friendly little site containing lots
of information about who we are, what we do, and when we do it. You’ll also find out
how you can get involved.
Amateur Dramatics is great fun, and Winslow Players have been having fun for
over 40 years now. You can see pictures of our 40th Anniversary productions on the following pages.
We are always pleased to welcome new members – you don’t have to
want to act, there are loads of other things to do as well. If you’re interested in what goes on behind the scenes:
building scenery, painting, lighting and sound, finding props, making costumes, making tea (most important!) we love to have
you join us. Don’t worry if you don’t have any practical experience in any of these areas: we can teach you; enthusiasm
is what counts.
We meet on the second Wednesday of every month (except August) in the Saint
Laurence Room, Market Square, Winslow, but rehearsals for productions go on all year round.
Come and see us – you’ll be sure of a warm welcome.
